Born and raised in Carlsbad, New Mexico Jeffrey S. Sandate was practically raised as an only child, as his older brother was out of the house by the time he was born. He described his parents as very hardworking and therefore he had to spend a lot of time with his grandparents. He enjoyed spending this time with his grandparents as they provided him with a lot of knowledge. “The hard work of my parents finally paid off when they were able to put me through medical school. I always knew that I wanted to be a physician as I always enjoyed helping people. However I realized that I wanted to become an OB/Gyn when I discovered that I liked to see life grow. As a child seeing a plant grow appalled me and as I grew older I was astonished by how a human being can develop and be born in this world. Being able to be a part of this development has always been my passion.” In the year 2000 Dr. Sandate received a Bachelor of Science at the University of Notre Dame. He then went to Medical School at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque New Mexico. He finally completed his residency at the University of Texas in Galveston, Texas in 2008. At his young age he has had a lot of experience in new and innovational procedures that help the patient. “My Goal is to keep current on new medical procedures and technology to be able to provide the utmost care to every patient that I see.” After completing residency Dr. Sandate took the challenge of moving to Dallas, Texas to work at Women's Specialty Center, one of the biggest private Ob/Gyn practices in the city. He describes the practice as hard working and constantly striving to provide the best care to every patient. He enjoys working at Women’s Specialty Center as both he and the practice strive for the same goal. Within his first year of practicing as an Ob/Gyn Dr. Sandate has seen hundreds of patients and has accomplished his goal of bringing more than 100 lives to this world as he delivers babies from the mother’s womb. He has also saved the lives of many women by providing surgical treatment to them. His popularity at the clinic has skyrocketed, as the patients fall for his charisma and excellent patient care. Patients describe him as an exceptional physician and he already has patients that re organize their schedule just to be able to get treated by him. His parents described him as “the kid with a good head on his shoulders.” He has proven to be the perfect example of achievement and success. Soon to be a perfect Latino leader in the much needed Medical Field.
