Obstetrics
Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Prenatal care is important in screening for various complications of pregnancy. Gynecology
Gynecology is the medical practice dealing with the health of the female reproductive system (vagina, uterus, and ovaries). Every woman should see a gynecologist to promote good health. Starting from puberty, when the reproductive organs mature, women should be regularly evaluated by a gynecological specialist. In our office we have physicians who are board certified and by choosing an ACOG Fellow as your physician, you can feel confident that you will receive the highest quality health care. Ultrasound
Medical ultrasound is a diagnostic imaging technique, or therapeutic application of ultrasound. In our office we have sonographers and the latest equipment to provide our patients with high quality health care.
Infertility
Infertility means not being able to become pregnant after a year of trying. If a woman can get pregnant but keeps having miscarriages or stillbirths, that's also called infertility. Most people will have the strong desire to conceive a child at some point during their lifetime. Understanding what defines normal fertility is crucial to helping a person, or couple. Treatment will depend on many factors, including the age of the person who wishes to conceive, how long the infertility has lasted, personal preferences, and their general state of health. OUR TEAM
Dr. Jeffrey Sandate was born and raised in Carlsbad, New Mexico, where at a very early age he knew he wanted to become a physician. Throughout his grandmother’s battle with cancer, he was surrounded by such caring and compassionate doctors, which piqued his interest in the medical field. His commitment to becoming a physician took him to the University of Notre Dame, where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-professional studies. He then attended medical school in his home state
Dr. Gonzalo Venegas has been in practice for over twenty years. Born in Cotija Michoacán, Mexico. At a young age he went to Mexico City where he attended medical school and specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology. With his heart full of dreams and hoping that one day he could make a difference in the community he immigrated to the United States in 1983. He then finished his education at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Since Dr. Venegas Started his practice in 1984
Inspired by the roots of his family, Dr. Alfredo Antonetti decided that he wanted to become a physician at a very young age. All the men in his family have been great physicians including his Father, brothers and himself. He always knew that he had to follow the “legend of the Antonetti’s” as he says. Dr. Antonetti was born in Muenster, TX after he finished High School, he began college at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He then continued his education at the Universidad Autonoma de Gua
Dr. Khandaker was born in Toronto, Canada and moved to Dallas in 2017. She is a graduate from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario (Canada) with a Bachelor of Science (with Honors) in Life Sciences, and a minor in French Studies . She then went on to complete her medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine, and completed her clinical rotations both in the US and in Canada. Dr. Khandaker received her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center
Born and raised locally in Dallas, TX., Angelica Soto grew up in an indigent family. She was the third child of six, and both of her parents had very little education and lived in poverty. She was the first one in her family to not only graduate from high school but obtain a professional degree. At a very young age, she graduated from Nursing school and started working as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
