Gynecology is the medical practice dealing with the health of the female reproductive system (vagina, uterus, and ovaries). Every woman should see a gynecologist to promote good health. Starting from puberty, when the reproductive organs mature, women should be regularly evaluated by a gynecological specialist. Medical ultrasound is a diagnostic imaging technique, or therapeutic application of ultrasound. In our office we have sonographers and the latest equipment to provide our patients with high quality health care.
Infertility means not being able to become pregnant after a year of trying. If a woman can get pregnant but keeps having miscarriages or stillbirths, that's also called infertility. Most people will have the strong desire to conceive a child at some point during their lifetime. Understanding what defines normal fertility is crucial to helping a person, or couple. Treatment will depend on many factors, including the age of the person who wishes to conceive, how long the infertility has lasted, personal preferences, and their general state of health. Sadia A. Khandaker, MD, FACOG
Dr. Khandaker was born in Toronto, Canada, and moved to Dallas in 2017. She is a graduate of Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario (Canada) with a Bachelor of Science (with Honors) in Life Sciences, and a minor in French Studies. She then went on to complete her medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine and completed her clinical rotations both in the US and in Canada. Dr. Khandaker received her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
Taylor Merritt, NP
Taylor was born and raised in the Dallas area. She graduated from nursing school at Stephen F. Austin State University, and then returned to the Dallas area where she started her nursing career working as a trauma nurse. She knew that her passion was in women’s health and started working in Labor and Delivery at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. She enjoyed her time there immensely but knew that by going back to school, she could continue to work in women’s health.
Celynne Beaudoin, PA
Celynne grew up in the Oklahoma City area. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's in Psychology and a Minor in Biology. Prior to applying for PA school, Celynne worked as a medical assistant at a clinic in Oklahoma City specializing in women’s health. She then attended the Physician Assistant program at the University of Oklahoma, School of Community Medicine in Tulsa. Her passion for women’s health began as a medical assistant and continued to grow throughout PA school.
McKenzie Madill, PA
Growing up in a small, rural town in northeast Texas, McKenzie had big dreams of creating a better life for herself someday. McKenzie worked four jobs to put herself through college at Texarkana College and Texas A&M University-Texarkana where she graduated with a B.S. in biology. She later went on to Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas where she completed physician assistant school. McKenzie enjoys developing trusting relationships with her patients.
Jeffrey S. Sandate, MD
Dr. Jeffrey Sandate was born and raised in Carlsbad, New Mexico, where at a very early age he knew he wanted to become a physician. Throughout his grandmother’s battle with cancer, he was surrounded by caring and compassionate doctors, which piqued his interest in the medical field. His commitment to becoming a physician took him to the University of Notre Dame, where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-professional studies. He then attended medical school in his home state.
Gonzalo Venegas, MD
Dr. Gonzalo Venegas has been in practice for over twenty years. Born in Cotija Michoacán, Mexico. At a young age, he went to Mexico City where he attended medical school and specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology. With his heart full of dreams and hoping that one day he could make a difference in the community he immigrated to the United States in 1983. He then finished his education at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Since Dr. Venegas Started his practice in 1984.
Alfredo Antonetti, MD
Inspired by the roots of his family, Dr. Alfredo Antonetti decided that he wanted to become a physician at a very young age. All the men in his family have been great physicians including his Father, brothers, and himself. He always knew that he had to follow the “legend of the Antonetti’s” as he says. Dr. Antonetti was born in Muenster, TX after he finished High School, he began college at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He then continued his education at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara.
