Understanding Infertility

Infertility is diagnosed when a couple isn't able to get pregnant after one year of trying. If a woman can become pregnant but keeps having miscarriages or stillbirths, that can also be considered infertility.

As most people will have a strong desire to conceive a child at some point during their lifetime, understanding what defines normal fertility is crucial.

Fertility treatment will depend on many factors, including the age of the person who wishes to conceive, how long infertility has lasted, personal preferences, and their general state of health.
